The Vietnam Journal of Artificial Intelligence (VJAI) is committed to promoting the broad dissemination, accessibility, and responsible reuse of scholarly research while respecting the rights of authors and copyright holders.
Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their published work.
By submitting a manuscript to VJAI, the authors confirm that:
- The submitted work is original and has not been previously published, except where explicitly disclosed.
- The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal or publication venue.
- All authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.
- All authors agree to the journal's publication policies and copyright terms.
- Any third-party copyrighted materials have been used with appropriate permission and acknowledgement.
Publishing Rights
Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant VJAI a non-exclusive license to:
- Publish and distribute the article;
- Assign and register a Digital Object Identifier (DOI);
- Archive, preserve, and disseminate the published work;
- Include article metadata in indexing, abstracting, preservation, and discovery services.
Because the license granted to the journal is non-exclusive, authors retain the right to use, share, distribute, reproduce, and archive their own work, provided that the original publication in VJAI is properly acknowledged.
Open Access License
VJAI operates under a Diamond Open Access publishing model.
All published articles are made freely and permanently available online without subscription fees, paywalls, submission fees, or article processing charges.
Unless otherwise stated, articles published in VJAI are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
Under this license, users may:
- Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
- Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use;
provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
- The content of the manuscript does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others;
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material reproduced within the article;
- All sources are appropriately cited and acknowledged.
Corrections and Retractions
Copyright ownership remains with the authors even in cases where corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions become necessary. However, the journal reserves the right to maintain the scholarly record by preserving all versions of published articles and associated notices in accordance with accepted publishing standards.
